FRONTIER Compost Turners

100% Mixing:

A proven drum and paddle design with three sections. The middle section, the so called "dead zone" is turned first. The paddles throw the material over the drum to the left and right. The left section throws material to the right, and the right section throws the material to the left. Paddles have cutting edges, so no pulverization takes place.

100% Aeration:

Frontier paddles are designed like scoops.   They will suck tremendous amounts of air into the material.   Air is pumped at about 15 times the volume of material moved. This turbo-suction comes from up front and two grills on either side of the turner to draw air in front of the drum.

Total Porosity:

All our drums have the same inlet and outlet dimension. For example; 18' inlet and 18' outlet. This results in no compaction and total porosity.
