- 1958 Gemaco Sales Ltd first incorporated.
- 2005 purchased by Mr. R. Davies. With an agricultural background, equipment sales remained the main focus.
- 2007 purchased by current owners who continued the equipment sales tradition. Soon after President Terry Charles identified the opportunity in recycling asphalt shingles.
- 2009 owners attended the 4th Asphalt Shingle Recycling Forum in Chicago, IL which anchored their belief in the viability of Recycled Asphalt Shingle operations in Canada. They returned home and set forth to establish operations on Annacis Island in Vancouver.
- 2010 Gemaco Recycled Asphalt Shingle Station operations on Annacis Island began.

Gemaco Sales Ltd. was incorporated in 1958 by Mr. Garnet Marks. Mr. Marks originally owned the Mercedes Benz dealership in Kelowna. His love for equipment and the agriculture industry soon took him in new directions, and as the global need for recycling grew, Mr. Marks began sourcing and supplying equipment to support environmental solutions. Today, this original company spirit lives on.
